Left for expo, to help out in children’s church, but was miserably late, like, for 40minutes at least, minus the part when I loitered around cause I didn’t know where I was suppose to report. Funny,cause I actually walked past the venue at least thrice :/
Did all sorts of thing, picked up rubbish, adjust the number on the poles, usher, greeter, double-counted the presents and bioh-ing at the super cute kids (: 54 buses, 2000+ kids (:
And I didn’t know that there will be so little people, I thought there will be many people helping out, turn out there was only like 8-9? Made 2 new friends, Jane and Daphne (: And the team is like only Daphne and me, then the rest are all brothers. Scary :x
Saw Hansheng after I was dismissed, so took train together (: I took to Orchard to find Fiona and Angeline, to make the cards (: And my angels and their angels are totally from different world man. The ones I drew are like so malnutritioned, while their ones are like those who have been fed like a pig well (:
Went back to Expo for candlelight service (: Today’s message was good (: Finally Pastor Kong is back (: With Sun it’s better (: Christmas carol too! (:
AND I’VE GOTTA EMPHASISE HOW I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CANDLES (:
That was my candle (: And I mean it’s mine, not taken from internet, neither was it edited or what, I simply find it gorgeous (: How this light got its light from other candles, and passed it on and on, lighting the whole church (:
I thought, we can be this candle too, passing the light to other; lighting up other’s days (: Though a candle might seems useless, you wouldn’t know how much use it can be of when you need it. Like, in a blackout! (: Likewise, you might think that you’re useless, but you’re not! It’s just that the time has yet to come (: You just have to wait for that blackout to come (:
Tried to talk to Wilfred’s friend after that. One of my first attempt trying to talk to new friends, and keep it going for a while, and first attempt talking to new friends older than me. Challenging, but I have to step out of my comfort zone (:
I didn’t know what I could talk about, but there was a sudden prompt for me to ask them something, which kick started everything (: I must say, my God is great (:
Stop being ridiculous for goodness sake. I don’t owe you anything alright. You don’t have to diao me, you don’t have to ignore my friends. And it’s not if it’s boring or not, it’s if you wanna make it boring or not.
